COR received a US$30 million investment from FTV Capital

The company that uses AI to improve profitability for agencies and consultancies has received a US$30 million investment from FTV Capital. Founded by Santi Bibiloni and José Gettas and initially backed by the founder of Mercado Libre, COR will use the capital to scale its platform and expand into new professional services verticals.

We have big news to share today: COR has received a US$30 million investment from FTV Capital, one of the largest investment funds in the world.

The deal marks a new stage for the company founded by Argentine entrepreneurs Santi Bibiloni and José Gettas. COR will use the investment to accelerate its AI capabilities, expand into new professional services sectors and deepen its growth globally.

From running an agency to a platform in 38 countries

COR was born with a concrete goal: to enable agencies and professional services companies to improve their profitability on every project. The entrepreneurial story began years earlier, when Bibiloni founded Balloon Group at 21, a marketing agency focused on e-commerce that Gettas later joined as a partner. After building and selling it together, they founded COR. COR's first investor was Marcos Galperin, founder and CEO of Mercado Libre, the most valuable public company in Latin America.

At 27, Bibiloni moved to Silicon Valley, where he lived for five years driving COR's growth and building the foundations of its global expansion. Along the way, COR also brought on as investors — primarily in San Francisco — seven other founders of technology companies valued at more than US$1 billion. In parallel, the platform grew to be used by thousands of teams in 38 countries and by organizations such as Globant GUT, Grupo In Press, W3haus and Sancho BBDO.

AI is transforming agencies and consultancies

For decades, services companies managed people. From now on, they must also manage AI agents.

That shift is transforming the business model of agencies, consultancies and professional services companies, whose main cost is still their teams' time. The adoption of AI agents is redefining how work is planned, executed and monetized.

Operating those hybrid teams profitably is becoming one of the industry's biggest challenges.

When part of the work starts being executed by AI agents — with entirely different costs, timelines and pricing models — visibility into how work is produced, with which resources and at what profitability stops being a finance problem and becomes an operational one.

Yet many companies still operate with manual processes or generic project management tools that make it impossible to know precisely how to optimize their hours, rework, token consumption and much more.

COR solves this problem through an operating system that brings the work of people and AI agents into a single place, combining project management, automatic time tracking, resource planning, agent governance and real-time profitability analytics. This gives leaders a unified view of how work is planned, executed and monetized across hybrid teams.

For years, the challenge was managing people. In this new stage, it will be managing people and AI agents without losing sight of the profitability of every project. We believe that shift will redefine how services companies operate, and COR was built for that new reality.

What comes next

COR closed 2025 with 51% year-over-year revenue growth, profitability and solid customer retention. With FTV's backing, it will look to carry its experience in the advertising agency industry into other professional services sectors, including consultancies, legal and accounting organizations.

To lead its expansion in Brazil — the largest agency market in Latin America — COR appointed Birger Kamrath, former CEO of Skills Workflow, as Country Manager, with the mission of converting the momentum already built in the country into market leadership.

This investment allows us to accelerate our AI capabilities, which customers are already adopting, and to keep building COR as the operating system for the next generation of services companies. FTV's experience scaling global software companies makes them the ideal partner for our next stage.

Santi Bibiloni, CEO and co-founder of COR

From the investor's side, the reading points to the same place: operational intelligence as a condition for competing.

Professional services companies are entering a new era, one in which operational intelligence becomes increasingly critical. COR stands out for offering a solution built specifically for these organizations, with the visibility and intelligence they need to operate in this new landscape. We were impressed by the growth Santi and his team have achieved and by the vision they are building. We look forward to bringing FTV's experience backing high-growth technology companies to help scale the business.

Alex Malvone, partner at FTV Capital

As part of the deal, Alex Malvone, partner, and Tommy Tighe, principal at FTV Capital, will join COR's board of directors.

Latin American technology for a global industry

For international industry leaders, the ability to connect day-to-day operations with profitability is one of the main challenges services companies face.

Solutions like COR are essential to bringing transparency to how work gets done: they make it possible to gain visibility both inside the agency and toward its clients. That information makes the agency and its client relationships even more profitable.

David Sable, Executive Vice Chairman of Stagwell, a global group headquartered in New York with more than 11,000 employees

For us, COR is not a vendor but a true partner. Because our company runs on COR, we can have financial and operational conversations with our clients backed by real-time data. That level of transparency strengthens trust, improves decision-making and creates enormous value for both sides.

Andrés Carvajal, CEO of Sancho BBDO

In addition to Galperin and the seven other founders of companies valued at more than US$1 billion, COR has received backing from CEOs and CTOs of global companies such as Google, Walmart and Yahoo!, as well as from institutional funds such as GFC and 500 Global, among others.

From its origins between Silicon Valley and Argentina, Bibiloni and Gettas built COR together with their CTO, Gabriel Marin, a key figure in developing the technology that made it possible to turn it into one of the reference platforms for the management and profitability of agencies and professional services organizations.
